StarKnights 0.9 is a software sci-fi role-playing online multi-player game that motivates players to take on the role of one of five character types and develop them by expanding their skills. Players must guide them into building an empire in a virtual space environment to try and take over The Universe.
This highly complex game has games within games and the challenges presented to player’s chosen characters are in depth and strategic in StarKnights 0.9. Player’s characters must be developed through 11 skill tasks that they will elevate through by gaining experience points. The points are rewards for establishing new colonies on foreign planets, or winning combats against enemies and their ships. Gradually player’s characters earn currency that they can buy the components for building ships with, or buy shields or weapons etc. The greater their economy is, the greater their empire will grow.
The game features a production tree. This means that if they want to build ships the components to do that will have to be bought, and some components may have to be bought from different planets. The ships can’t be built until all the production components are obtained. Players can play StarKnights 0.9 against up to 32 other players or with AI opponents using the game client software that they can download. Game client software provides better game play, graphics, animations and sound effects.
